The Brenig Trail circumnavigates Llyn Brenig through forest and along the shoreline of the lake. Most of the route runs on off-road tracks with one short section along a B-road and one climb. Ospreys regularly visited the reservoir last summer but this spring is the first time a pair has nested there, making Brenig only the fifth breeding site for the fish-eating birds in Wales.
